If you are referring to me I usually don't read this much. Probably only about 5 or 6 books a year, I have just had a lot of stuff come in at my library lately and I have had to read like a fiend to keep up. Alldat is usually the one who reads 25 to 30 books a year.

I am a little off that this year. But, you are correct. I have read as many as 40 in a year, but the 25 range is usually correct.

I am definitely off for the year. I am just on my 12th book this year. Hopefully, that will pick up soon.

Oooo it looks like RockerVu2 is going to beat you for total count this year. Of course I would probably wipe the floor with both of you if you let me count the audio books on cd/mp3 I listen to going back and forth from work (usually around 3 each month).

if we were to have a contest for who reads the most... I would absolutely lose that one.

Nope! If you didn't have to use your eyes to absorb the information in word form, then it isn't a book and therefore shouldn't be counted. Besides, most audio books are condensed and therefore shorter. They are the equivalent to a CD. That, to me, doesn't constitute a real book.

Go to the bookstore, Skippy. Get a book with REAL pages.

Skippy, holy cow, you guys make me laugh today.
That's so wonderful of having vacation you can read almost all day.
After breakfast, before supper while we are having lunch.
I love reading when I'm having breakfast.

I read a lot, but it's usually stuff I've already read

Read books with real pages.

I have read 4 books in the last 3 weeks (course they were graphic novels... but those are still books !!)

I don't have the time to read books outside of my daily Bible study reading. I'm currently in John and have 5 commentaries open as I read through the Gospel. I've made it to vs.18 in ch.1 in no less than 3 months. Does Bible study count here as reading books ?

Oh and my wife and I read out of the OT before we hit the sack. We're in 1Kings right now.
