| I'm sure this has been discussed/answered at some point, but I wasn't present. What is a BOT ? I see at the bottom it says "Bots: Google, Bing" I don't get it | |

| Just click on one of the ad banners to find out (if you dare). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| The "bots" are small programs allowed by Niceboard to allow ads that are geared towards the topics we discuss. They get paid by Google and Bing if we click on their links. I wish I could turn the bots off, but that is one of the things you have to deal with when you are using Niceboard. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Interesting...
Well I guess I made Niceboard some money a couple times seeing how I've clicked an ad or two in the past. | |

| Bots are also what power the search engines - they index your site so people can find relevant info. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

One of these things is not like the other.....I think it could be argued the Obama is not "necessary" (but I would certainly agree with evil). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Obama and Colonoscopies are probably the two closest of those. Both are unwanted pains in the @$$.

| You don't want to turn off the bots. Nobody would find us.
Oh, and I wouldn't pay Niceboard. I would just create our own board since I own the domain name. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
