- >> Disciple Plan For New Album Mid-2012
According to rock band Disciple's official twitter page, fans can expect a brand new record from the guys due "Mid-2012." Last week, fans quizzed the band on random topics. When the topic turned to writing new music, they replied, "it's going well, lot of music to listen to. Over 40 songs so far." Check out the band's official Twitter feed for the latest news on the guys... _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| That's cool news a new Disciple CD. I'm curious what style this new CD will have. Like the older stuff or like their newer stuff. | |

I'm curious what style this new CD will have. Like the older stuff or like their newer stuff. That's what I've been wondering as well! Id really like it if they hooked back up with Brad Noah to record guitars again. I miss all the lead guitar riffs from Southern Hospitality!!

| The 2 guitarists they have now are certainly able to handle the guitar work. When "Southern Hospitality" came out and I saw them open for Skillet, Disciple was doing those leads live. So, they COULD do them if only their producer/record label will push them to do so. Also, if enough fans sound off, perhaps they will add lead guitar. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Oh I totally agree! But that sound they had on Southern Hospitality started with Brad. If you listen to some of his solo instrumental stuff, it sounds like it could easily pass as b-sides off Southern Hospitality without any vocals. While he may have not been the sole reason for lead guitar riffs from past albums, he's what gave them that southern sound the most.
