Only a rumor?

Rumor has it that 80’s Glam metal band Guardian is working on a new 4 track EP, for a release early 2012 ?

I hope it's not a rumor but the truth.
To bad it's only a 4 track EP insted of a full length album.

I just wonder what style the music will be?
If it is like the "Miracle Mile" or "Fire & Love" albums that I will be pretty excited. If the style is more like the "Buzz" or "Bottle Rocket" albums I will probably just skip it.

I like the forementioned Guardian album vox, but also like the variety Jamie shows on London Calling and his solo works. It'd be cool to hear some Guardian classic rock with some variance in Jamie's singing.

I'm a bit confused about this threat about Guardian and the thread Alitah started.

Doing a little research, it seems that there are indeed TWO Guardian bands. One is the one with Jamie, Karl, David, and Tony. The other one is called Guardian1 and features the original singer and drummer. Sounds to me that someone is just trying to cash in on their former band.

Jamie Rowe's band is Guardian; Paul Cawley's band is Guardian1. It's more than confusing, isn't it?

Yes it really is.
For me one Guardian is more than enough.
Now, which Guardian is the best?
Guardian or Guardian1?

Just from the few sound samples I heard of Guardian1.....I would have to say I am just sticking with "Guardian".

The Guardian1 samples didn't impress me at all.

I am wondering the same as the new Guardian1 EP that just came out (2011) is 3 songs. I see mention above about a 4 song EP for 2012.
