I thought that it was announced that they were playing their last live show. I don't remember it saying they were breaking up.

I doubt Deliverance is gone forever. Sure, they will stop playing for a while. Jimmy is an artist who like to express himself. It may be a few years, but he will feel the need again. Plus, the fan interest will still be there and he'll throw us a bone sometime.

I just got this email back from Jimmy, I contacted him about an hour ago:

I can understand that. As long as Jimmy is doing heavy music, I'll buy it and call it Deliverance. I'm cool with that.

Maybe, I think money is a big factor when it comes to Deliverance

but I love all of Jimmys Music so as long as he continues to make music I will continue to listen to it

Ya Deliverance is playing there Last show in Florida at GodzFest august 20th It will well worth going. Whitecross, Sacred Warrior, Rob Rock Jacobs Dream and more are going to be there.

By the way what is JVI? Just curious

Jupiter VI is Jimmy Brown's hard rock project, which feels a LOT slower than Deliverance. They're worth checking out.
