Bride news.

I'd like to hear a CD of new tunes, and I'd like a remaster or total redo of "Kinetic Faith". I'd like to see them just do KF live in a studio with very few overdubs just to catch the raw power.

That would be fantastic! Kinetic Faith is my second favorite Bride album behind Snakes in the Playground.

Every Bride album I think is great with the possible exception of The Jesus Experience, which just doesn't grab me at all. Drop was good for a bit of a change (not that I listen to it alot), and Kinetic Faith was good for the blues feel. So I'm really excited about another Bride album, and I'd be happy with the guys releasing an album every 2 or 3 years but not doing any touring.

I'd actually list "Drop" ahead of either "The Jesus Experience" or "Oddities". It is a different album, but the band forewarned people that they were going to stretch a bit on that one. If you really listen, it's still Bride--just with a lot more blues added in.

Every time when Bride has released a new CD, I was surprised that each CD has his own sound.
Fist Full Of Bees has a complete other sound than Kinetic Faith.
That's what I like so much in Bride.

KF complete new. No remaster or re-do-things.

I really like Drop alot. I saw them at a small club on that tour.

I'm pretty certain I have never heard Drop. I think "Drop" and "Fist Full of Bees" are the only albums I haven't heard from their "older" material.

Fist Full Of Bees got alot of bad press because of the style change, but although about half the tracks are rapcore style, the other half are very similar to Oddities and The Jesus Experience. Some of the tracks on that album are brilliant. I reckon it's an underrated album (although still no where near their best).

Drop is a good album, but when they released it, it was so different from anything they'd done before that it was just so out of place I couldn't listen to it for ages. Now I like the alternative style. I listen to it when I want a 'chilled' Bride day!

Both are worthy of purchase I believe.

Because of the music and the excitement therein, had Dale sang on that album instead of rapping, that would have been considered "Snakes Part 2". Regardless, Dale does sing on quite a bit of it, and I like it.

I know lots of fans never liked "Fist Full Of Bees".
Maybe I'm a rare Bride fan.

I really liked this album as well. Not very many bands can go through so many style changes and still be considered one of the greats.
