New Church Website

Greetings all. I haven't had much to say on the forums in a while, but I have been extremely busy. I am in the final weeks of my Master's program and I am working on my Capstone project (replaces a thesis), pastor the church, and also creating a new website for our church. One thing people have asked (Guilty/Forgiven specifically), was to be able to hear some of my sermons. Well, the new website has a blog feature where I post random thoughts from time to time, as well as a sermon archive where you can listen to sermons. I have several up now, so if anyone is interested, you can listen to them. I am not sure if you can download them, or just stream them, I haven't tried to download them now that I think about it. Once I finish my degree, I plan to enhance and expand the site, so if you have ideas for improvement, I am open to them.

I just downloaded your first "Encounters with Jesus" sermon. It downloads fine, you just have to put your cursor over the link and click the right mouse button then select "Save Target As".

Thanks for the info. I thought you could, but I already have the files on my computer, so I didn't ever think about downloading them until I was making the earlier post.

I actually preached about 10 -12 weeks about Encounters with Jesus, but the rest fo them are not archived. The people I have helping me would make copies on CD if people asked, and then delete the files after about three weeks if no one asked for a copy. All of my sermons up to this point are basically gone for ever, unless someone wanted a CD of one along the way. Oh well, I am in charge of archiving now and so I can keep up with them properly.

I listened to part one of "The Man Born Blind" sermon (great stuff ).
I hope to get to part two in a day or two.

I did notice that for some reason when I down-loaded your "Road to Damascus" sermon that it is just under 18 minutes. Is it really that short? (no, I haven't listened to it yet)

No, the Road to Damascus sermon wasn't that short. I remember one week the recorder ran out of storage and not everything was recorded. I believe that was the one now that I think about it. Problem is once the recorder shuts off, nothing is recorded and it can't be fixed. This past week the recorder was left on for about 2 1/2 hours with no signal. I can fix that, but not the other direction.
