.....But kind of happy too.
We just got word from the state that they are giving our foster daughter to her father. We are really bummed as we where hoping to keep both her (she is two) and her half brother (who is 5). But we knew that the father would probably get her back. We are sad to lose her, but happy about the prospect of her growing up with her birth-father (I understand he is a great guy).

May God comfort and bless you guys in this. God's gonna do great things in this girl's life - and your influences and love will be remembered by her forever (as well as remembered by our Father).

I can imagine why you are sad after caring for her for a month or three. God goes with her when she goes back to her birth father. She's not alone.
