Album of the year.....

Could be......

Stairway - Interegnnum, which I really love (although as you can see, I can't spell!) Much better than anything they've done since their first album, and I reckon it's slightly better than that. Ok, production is a bit muddy, but that aside it's awesome.

Disciple - Horseshoes and Handgrenages. Great sounds, even if it's not as heavy as their other stuff. Depending on it's staying power this may make the top spot.

Theocracy - 3rd album. Probably be my favourite IF they release it this year.

So far, my list is like this:


1. Audiovision - Focus
2. Testify - Pushing Back Darkness
3. Since October - Lies Scars Apologies
4. Fireflight - For Those Who Wait
5. The Letter Black - Hanging On By A Thread
6. Dead Moon's Grey - DMG
7. Newsboys - Born Again




I am betting that the new Third Day and Lordchain CDs break into this list. I haven't bought as much stuff this year. Stryper might earn a spot, too. Disciple could, but I don't foresee them making the top 5 at all. If Bride were to complete their new album by year's end, I would also guess that this would take a top slot and move other releases down the list.

Of what I have that has been released Im most excited about.

Audiovision - Focus
Rex Carroll - That Was Then, This is Now
Giant - Promised Land (although technically this would be secular)

But I'm still missing a few releases, and I expect that I'm probably really going to like the new Stryper

I'm not really forseeing anything in the future to be better then the new Disciple for me. Right now my list would probably look like this:

1. Liberty N Justice / Light it Up
2. Day of Fire / Losing All
3. Since October / Life Scars & Apologies
4. This Fires Embrace / In Transit
5. Dark From Day One / From Within
6. Sent By Ravens / Our Graceful Words

I was going to add that one to my list but I thought it came out last year, but when I checked my disc it says 2010.

For most people, it did. But, if you were on the disc or preordered it, you may have gotten your copy in December before it was released to the public.

I counted it on last year's list.

I don't think I got it until January, so I'm gonna count it on this year's list.
Same with my copy of Saint's "Hell Blade", it also says 2010.

A couple of candidates:

Audiovision - "Focus"
The Sacrificed - "2012"

I just can't seem to get into The Sacrificed. If there were something I was really wanting, I might be convinced to trade the CD.

I'd trade you for something, but I'm certain I don't have anything you want or need.
