On CMR was a thread about Rand Rose is on Facebook.
As fan of Randy Rose I have sent him a friend request.

Today I watched his page and was pleasantly
surprisedto find a sample of a new song.
I really think Randy Rose is working on a new album.
Yeppers the peppers what a good news.
A new CD from Randy.

I heard the song that he did on his FB page and it does sound promising. I don't know if he is using the Rose band name or not. The sound is not the same as it was back in the 90's. I do hope they add some lead guitar to the mix.

I need to go check out that new song.
I couldn't tell if he was going to use the "Witch Burner" title as a band name or an album name.

I do like the song, though. It has that White Stripes sound that is not quite metal and not quite modern rock. I can't think of anyone else in the Christian market with this sound. It comes off as a very original sound compared to the bands I normally listen to.

Listened to the new song too.
For me it doesn't make any sense what the name of the band will be.
as long as the new CD of Randy Rose will rock like his previous CDs I don't complain.

I watched the video again today and am now in the mood for more Rose, Sometime Sunday, Rob Walker, and Wish for Eden.

I was hearing the modern "White Stripes" kind of sound as well (especially the fuzzy bass). I think I could dig a whole album of this kind of music from Randy.

Randy has put up 3 more songs on his Facebook page. It's different from his earlier Rose albums, but I am definitely diggin' it.
