but I have to admit it, it is really good. Especially the tracks with with Trevor from TFK. I know it's rap but if you like rap/rock like Linkin Park or early TFK you may like it.

I like some of the early Pillar stuff, but I did not care for this. The rhymes were too sloppy and off the beat. That might work with some gangsta rap, but not with rapcore.

Manafest just recently put out a "rock" album that's actually really good. It, like you said, is really reminiscent of TFK, mostly because Trevor helped produce it as well as make guest appearances on several of the tracks. I'd definitely reccommend the "The Chase" album. Here's the video from the title track of the album. It also has a guest appearance from the singer of a Christian Metal band he met on his Japan tour last year called Crossfaith. It's not the best video, but it's a pretty awesome song. Check it out:

Like the music, but I'm just can't bring myself to dig anything with rap-style vocals. I can tolerate it if it just appears in the breakdown on the song (or maybe the outro) but not as the main verse/chorus vocals.
But it's definately quailty stuff for that style.

Linkin Park were pretty good, so I can handle a few albums of that style, but Manafest don't really do it for me. Nothing wrong with it, infact it is very catchy (the song I heard) but rapcore (and the like) has to be brilliant for me to even consider buying it. Linkin Park put out one stonkin' album, so I ended up buying that.
I just end up thinking.....
"That ain't no Rob Rock" or "That ain't no Dale Thompson"
and then I switch off.
Narrow minded? Yes! I have a narrow genre in music, being anything from Hard Rock to almost Thrash metal - and I love it!!!!
