2. Message Boards (even better while listening to music)
3. Reading
4. Watching a good movie
5. Walking (again even better while listening to music)
6. Cooking & then eating what I cooked. (but I don't seem to have time to do this like I used to)

I can't do that.
I know lot's of people who can, but not me. I can read while someone else has the t.v. on, but I can't do it while music is playing.

I guess it's from too many years in factories(30 this year!), but I've gotta have background noise, or I can't concentrate...

Music (as background noise) actually helps me when I'm working, but for some reason not when I'm reading. Guess I'm just odd.

I can have the music on while I'm reading, but I can't have it at high levels. It becomes a distraction and I can't focus on the book. I can't read if the tv is on at all.

Can't read on long car trips.
But can read while the TV is on.
When I'm reading books that need my attention I can't listen to music and then the sound of TV is not cool.

Ok I can actually read if the tv is on (just not too loud), but the music distracts me for some reason.

Me neither, surest way for me to get sick (and fast) is to try and read in a moving car.

I agree. I cannot read while in the car. I've tried. The after effects are not pretty.
