I watched Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure last night with my kids. Not sure if it is a good sign (or a bad one) but my 11 year old son told me "I don't get it".

It is pretty darn cool. The class only got up to the point where Harold is gladiating in front of the whole village. Now I want to buy it. Razz

When Monster's Inc was brand new in theaters, my wife's boss went to China for a vacation. While there they bought the movie from a street vendor as a gift for our kids (very innocently not knowing it was a bootleg). The funny part is, my cousin works at Disney and specifically on Pixar films. He was flabbergasted that I had this bootleg and offered to buy it from me so he could show everyone at work. The printing on the cover is in Chinese. Here's the kicker - out of the right channel it's English, out of the left channel it's in Chinese ! So in order to listen to it, you have to turn the balance to the right.
pretty funny.... wonder if my kids remember this ?

Currently watching South Beach Tow on TruTV. It's another one of those "reality" shows about a repo business, though this one seems a bit more realistic than their other attempts (Operation Repo and Lizard Lick Towing).

I love that movie! It's a great sci-fi comedy in it's own right. However, as a Trekkie, I enjoyed the spoof on the whole Trek empire. I wish they would do a sequel of this, though.

I watched all three of the LOTR films with my sons over the last two weeks. Just finished with Return of the King last night.
