Narnia Release date.

The release date for the new Narnia CD is on July 24th.

Hope Narnia will add some samples to their MySpace page.

Sounds like the summer is heating up with the new Stryper and Narnia discs.

I'm also looking forward to the release of the new Decyfer Down. We'll be getting two Saint projects this fall, and also new projects from both Skillet and Pillar this year. Rumor has it that Flyleaf will finally drop a new disc after a mere 6 years. If you're interested, Bride will have a new CD this year. Also, Day Of Fire is to be releasing a third project this year, but I have not yet heard a release date for it.

Looks like a decent 2nd half of 2009 where I'm standing!

Still searching for news about the release of "Wicked Maiden" of Impellitteri in Europe.

August will bring us the rerelease of Legacy.
I wonder why that has to take so long?

The company releasing Legacy also had a ton of other artists they were releasing this year. If I had to guess, I would think they were staggering their product releases to keep from bankrupting themselves. You've got to spend some to produce the products, advertise them, etc. to have enough sales to continue doing this.

I think waiting until August will be a good thing. That will give me more time to get to know the new Stryper and Narnia discs.

Oh, and speaking of Decyfer Down, JesusFreakHideout just released a preview of the new album. Something Im wondering is if (with the exception of Crash and Best I can) all the songs are different than the songs Caleb wrote. Because I noticed they carried over a song from the Fighting Instinct EP to the Crash album. I wonder if All the songs with the exception of Desperate were originals by Decyfer Down, or if there are 4 originally DD songs and 6 new songs written by Josh.

I'm listening to those tracks right now. Looks like the review they got from JFH is not that favorible. But, I usually like the stuff that most reviewers are hard on and dislike a lot of the more "groundbreaking" stuff.

As long as Josh is back on vocals, then it won't matter. Rich (the bassist) already said on CMR that the new CD called "Hell Blade" will be more in the style of "In The Battle". Also, Josh will be redoing the vocals on the "Crime Scene Earth" CD before it is reissued on Retroactive. All of the old Saint catalog will be reissued on Retroactive. I don't know if there will be any bonus material added to these reissues.

As long josh is doing the vocals on "Hell Blade" I'm interested.
"In The Battle" was a very cool Saint CD.
That CD made me a fan of Saint.
I wish Josh did the vocals on "Crime Scene earth too" then the was no rerelease needed.
