Prayers for Shining Force

Hi everyone This is Billy with the Shining Force band. I have been
diagnosed with Chronic Hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver. The
specialist want me to go on a Program that is like Chemo therapy. I
would have to take shots weekly and take pills everyday for a whole
year. Even with this therapy it does not guaranty to work. the next
step would be a Liver transplant in the future. I have posted this so
that everyone that reads this will pray for me. I believe that God
still heals today and hears the prayers of his children. I am asking
you to please take time out of your day to pray for my healing. The
Bible says where 2 or more are gathered together and if we agree in
prayer there I am in the mist of them. So if you will stand in the Gap
for me in prayer and agreement then I believe God will hear our
prayers. I will be doing one last show with my band this Saturday at
the Jet Lounge in downtown Houston off of 1515 Pease st. Please come
out to see us, I would love to meet you in person. Please come and see
the band perform our last show. This is one show you will not want to
miss. If in the future God lets me continue to play, then we will let
everyone know that we are back together. God Bless You as you pray for
me. Many souls have been won through our ministry and I pray God will
answer my prayer for healing so that I may continue his work with
Shining Force.

Sad to read that Billy has serious health problems with his liver.
I hope God will give him back his health.

Very sad news, this is a band that has more than their share of troubles.
Will be praying.

Speaking of Shining Force, did their second album every officially release? If so where can you find it?

That's very sad news. I'll be praying for this situation too.

Unfortunately, Staybrite, the 2nd album has never been released. There were numerous reports that it would be out, and even the artwork was done - but for reasons that I don't know, the album has never seen the light of day. It's a shame because Shining Force has a lot of potential.

I thank God for Billy and the Shining Force band, and ask God in the Name of Jesus to be with Billy through his time of difficulty.
I've seen many people suffer with various cancers and health issues and my way of coping with my health problems and others around me was to get a hard heart.
God is now softening that heart and I pray that Billy won't allow a hard heart, or anger that "God has allowed" this in his life. I ask You God to bring a miraculous healing to him, should that be Your will. If not, then I pray Billy will reflect the Son and bring many to the Kingdom because of this illness.

I wonder if they finished the recording of the 2nd album but never released it. It would be a shame to have a completed project and not make it available.

There are at least a few songs completed (over a year ago in fact) because I and fishingod have played them on our shows. Good stuff.

That is the only reason I knew they even had anything recorded, is cuz I heard on Rocksalt. (see another free plug)

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your kind reply's and prayers. It gets hard at times thinking are we even getting a message of hope and salvation through with our music. But I can see that we do. God has won many to his kingdom by using us to minister his word. I can remember all the tough neighborhoods and all the gear we use to have to carry. At times we got tired but never gave up. After seeing the souls come and give their lives to Jesus I would just get this burst of energy back and knew it was all worth it. Thank God for prayer warriors as yourself who stand in the gap for people like us. It gives me pleasure to know that people are praying for me. I am believing for God's healing. I am standing on his word. God's word is a living word. If Jesus was going to be in a church next sunday and you knew it, if you were sick, you would go of course, because you know you would receive your healing. Am I right? Well it's the same with the word of God. If God says by his stripes we are healed, then we are healed. I am Confessing this daily. Jesus became the word in flesh, so the word of God "the Bible" is in fact the living word of God. If we know we can be healed at a service where Jesus will be, then why can't we believe that the living word says by his stripes we are healed. Because we listen to our mortal thoughts when we should be listening to our spirit. God is spirit. Any way my friends. I am believing and I thank God for friends like you. The new cd will be relesased this year. we have ran into problems in the studio and that is what has set us back. All the tracks are done. We just lack bass and vocals on the rest of the tracks and the final mix, that's it. We are hoping it will be done soon. I just spoke to Mike Heald and we are trying to work something out at a new location to complete the cd. I think the devil is worried about this cd coming out, why else would he keep trying to stop us? I pray that this new cd will touch many souls and that many people will come to Jesus through this cd. Peoples salvation is most import to us, not the music. But the music has to be good to get their attention. If I can not continue to play guitar, that won't stop me from preaching God's word. I am being ordained as an Evagilist in the next few weeks. I will continue to win souls to God's kingdom till God calls me home. Thanks again for your prayers. I need real prayer warriors as yourselve praying for me and my healing. I know its coming. God hears all of our prayers. Amen
