| Four bands who released there sophomore album. What's your favorite album of Harmony, Letter 7, Nailpoint or Red? Is the first the best, or you like the second album much more or you say I like them both.
Harmony: - Dreaming Awake - Chapter II: Aftermath
Letter 7: - Salt Of The Earth - Follow The Light
Nailpoint: - Freedom - Falling To Pieces
Yes, I know Nailpoint released an EP too. I only mean full length releases this time.
Red: - End Of Silence - Innocense And Instinct

| Harmony - favorite is definately Dreaming Awake. The new album isn't bad, but just not as many "hooks" Letter 7 - I can't pick, I think they are both fantastic. Nailpoint - I haven't even heard the new album yet so I can't decide. Red (no red in my coolection, not really a fan). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Harmony - Dreaming awake - It seemed like they were more creative with the slow-fast contrast.
Letter 7 - Salt of the Earth - I like the vocals better.
Nailpoint - Falling to Pieces - Better production and the vocals were on pitch a lot more than on Freedom.
Red - ??? - I REALLY liked them both and can't quite decide which one I like better. They both have songs I could listen to hour upon end and they each have a couple I don't really care for. Although I really like the concept of I&I, If I had to choose Id say End of Silence just because I can connect with the songs more.

| I can only comment on Harmony, and I would have to say "Dreaming Awake" for the same reason Staybrite mentioned.

| Here's my votes: Harmony: - Dreaming Awake
Letter 7: - Follow The Light
Nailpoint: - Falling To Pieces
Red: - End Of Silence The first Harmony disc just has bigger hooks to me. With Letter 7, I like the new singer better. Also, the recording just sounds even better! While I liked the lyrical direction of "Freedom" by Nailpoint, I think their new sound is absolutely cooler. And, with Red, the songs on their debut resonate with me better. Musically, both discs are about the same, but that's the problem with their new one. I feel like I've already heard this. They took no chances and tried nothing new. I have already grown bored with it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Dreaming Awake Follow the Light Freedom End of Silence (only because I haven't listened to more than the single yet from the new one) _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| It seems I'm not alone in the fact that so many new music sounds the same.
I like the debut CDs of Harmony, Letter 7, Nailpoint and Red.

| Not sure why everyone isn't digging on "Chapter II: The Aftermath" - it's fantastic! Definitely one of the top power/prog metal releases of 2008, along w/ Theocracy's new one, Menahem, and Random Eyes' new album. | |

| Theocracy's is clearly superior to any of those. The new Harmony is good but I think it lacked the emotion and variety of the first one. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| I had only previously heard Nailpoint's The Road Less Traveled and can honestly say without a doubt in my mind, Falling to Pieces is 100% better than that album. Also I think I am liking Red's new album more. Maybe it's just me but it seems they cutback a little on the orchestration and just rocked more. It's still there just not as much | |

| Theocracy's album is absolutely awesome. My joint album of 2008. As for Harmony, the new album was good, but because of the lack of hooks on alot of the tracks I just ended up pressing 'skip' once too often. End Of The Road is probably the most hook laden track on the album. Still, it's a good album.
