Anyone here see this movie?
I watched it yesterday, and I thought it was pure awesome! The mix of scifi and viking lore spiced with an alien dragon made this a must see film. The only thing that was missing was some epic power metal.

I've been trying hard the past few years to stay away from the eye candy so I doubt I'll see it. Sounds like one I would have enjoyed previously though.

Sounds like something I'd rent when it comes out on DVD.

Speaking of "eye candy", I'm also looking forward to:

So being in Germany where do you go to see these in English. Is there an Army post/Airforce base nearby or do you just wait until they come out on video?

The Cinemaxx chain of theaters reserve a screen for three days to show the more popular films in their original language. If I can't watch it in English then I'll watch it in German. I speak German fluently. I also buy the films I like on DVD. With a few exceptions, Jackie Chan films in particular, most DVDs have the original languages included with German.
The German film industry is exceptional in finding actors who sound like the originals to do the translations. Some movies are even better in German than the original English release. A good example of this are animated movies such as Ice Age, Sponge Bob and The Incredibles. I watched all of these in English and then in German, and the German versions were smarter and funnier than the originals.

I did not realize until today as I was wandering around Kmart waiting on a prescription that this Outlander movie is based on a book series. I saw one of the books in the book section.

Jackie Chan!
Over the years I've owned loads of his films. What are your favourites, Dreams?
My personal favourites are the 80's stuff, like Police Story I, Wheels On Meals, Armour Of God and Project A parts I and II. Some of his stunts are just amazing. I think it was on Who Am I where he was running round the streets wearing clogs, and hid slid across a road. The second he slid across an huge lorry drove straight past him, missing him by what seemed like inches. (Bit like Police Story II, where that van actually hit him!)

Oh man, I wouldn't know where to start. I'm a huge fan of Jackie Chan. He's appeared in over 100 films, and I own 45 including one very rare film where he appeared for only about 5 seconds.
Some of my favorites are:
-Operation Condor (other titles Armor of God 2, Project Eagle) (1990) -Dragons Forever (1987) -Drunken Master (1978) -Legend of Drunken Master (1994) -Supercop (1992) -Wheels on Meals (1984)
Some films, like Legend of Drunken Master, were available in Germany for years before they showed up in the U.S...to keep the films from being distributed abroad they were sold in the German language only.

Dragons Forever was great. In the UK it got a rating of 18+. Which is something i could never understand, cause it was similar to most of his 80's stuff, but that all got a PG rating (parental guidance).
All that I've got left now is........ Wheels On Meals The Medallion Project A Project A Part II Armour Of God Part I Armour Of God Part II Police Story Police Story II New Police Story (V) Rush Hour Rush Hour II
But I did have another 10 - 15 others.
I've always liked the ones where Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, and Jackie teamed up together.

Those are some of the best he's done.
Here's a cover picture of the movie where Jackie Chan had just a few second role. The film was made in 1972, but that picture was taken from either Rumble In The Bronx or Mr Nice Guy. I bought the film thinking it was a new movie, as in newly made, but it turned out to be a Hong Kong low end B movie. Many fans that I know didn't know it existed.
