Here it is. I spent far more time on this show than any other I've done. I thought I'd tease you and let you find out my ranking like the FM people did since that makes the joy/shock/dismay/giddyness/puzzlement factor just that more intense. I'm curious to hear your comments, criticisms, putdowns, etc.

You just finished playing Harmony and now your saying something inconsequential about the weather or the time. I'm just hoping you will quit talking soon and play some more music (darn radio DJs).

I figured there would be at least a few that made you wonder what in the world I was thinking or that you hadn't really heard much before. No comments on the music at all so far.

Your number 1 was no surprise to me either.

I completely agree with you for number 2. But you are a lyrics oriented DJ, and HB has some of the most God-centered lyrics I have heard in a hard/heavy band in quite some time.

I was a little surprised to hear Amaseffer (or however it's spelled) so high on your list. But you can tolerate the proggy stuff more than me though (I think you even like it). I had completely forgotten about the album. I remember listening at their myspace once or twice but the music seemed so progressive and epic I wasn't even sure any of the song writers had even heard a song with a hook in it before. So I expected it wasn't for me.

I wonder if DJ's listen with other ears to music than we, the regular people?
The "cookie monster" song wasn't my favorite, but I loved to hear Disciple, Letter 7, DecembeRadio, This Fires Embrace, Harmony and Stricken.

That was one I thought would surprise people. Hookless it is for the most part. It really does come across like a soundtrack but I suppose that's because that is what they do normally. Very cool story and very well done, especially the Hebrew/Middle Eastern influence. #2 should be out at year end or early 2010. Wow - 2010... a space odyssey. Anyway, this was the first CD I've listened to in the car repeatedly in a LONG time since I was able to find it in Nov. The trouble was that there was nothing I would normally play lyrically (they were good but not what I'm after) and most of the tracks have a lot of mellow spots.

Some likely do, but not this one. I just pick the songs that sound the best to my ears. I have a good ear for which tracks people will like, not what the label people pick as singles. I also of course have lyrical criteria I try to meet. I'll allow some slack in one or the other but very rarely both (music and lyrics I don't care for).

What other comments do you have?
