I can imagine it would be difficult to get idependent bands (without any major record label support) to the shows. Which might be why you see more "signed" acts. Also if a record label is fronting any of the money for the trip, they may want to see some of their other recording artists make it to the festival.

Bummer I missed that.
To be honest at that time I really didn't knew there was Christian rock music.

What I hope is that CRN and LOR won't be a festival ruled by labels or the influence of people.
But a festival that's a joy for Christian hard rock fans.
A wide variety in Christian bands.
I mean I have gotten a paper with the bands for LOR for 2009 and saw Bloodgood again on the list of artists.
Bloodgood played on the LOR in April too.
Why the invited an other band, for example Stryper or so?

Because Stryper for example wants a $10000 fee/show and they never played CRN.

Stupid That's a lot of money.

Does this mean bands who played on CRN only can play at the LOR?
