| Does anyone have this band's album (I think it has been out for a while)?
I expected it to sound like symphonic power metal with female vocals, but to me it sounds more like Megadeath with both male and female lead vocals.

Seriously, this is the first time I have heard of D.O.G.S. of Pray. How would you describe their music? My thoughts are along the lines of "theatrical Gothic metal". Is that within the ballpark?
I am thinking about putting together a write up about the band when I update Angelic Warlord later this weekend. |

| Well I do think the music has a gothic metal feel to it (but not symphonic). The male singer reminds me a lot of Dave Mustaine from Megadeth. I think the female vocals add an important dynamic to the songs (this is all just based on the tunes they have posted on their myspace player).
I would like to get this one too, but it will probably have to wait.
