The new album is done being mixed and is being mastered and manufactured!
It will soon be available for purchase. It may make a cornerstone exculive debut!


That means we soon can order the new X-Sinner.

Sweet!!! Looking forward to getting my hands one of those discs.

This is probably the my most anticipated CD for the year. I'll definitely be getting this as I always loved their style. Before I got into Christian music, one of my favorite bands was AC/DC. I heard a lot of similarities with X-Sinner and loved them from the moment I first heard them.

Try not to hard looking forward to this album, to avoid my disappointement when the CD is not so cool as I exptected.
Don't misundertood me that I am not looking forward to this CD.
X-Sinner is the christian twin of AC DC.

I know what you mean, I try not to be too hopeful for any album. Seems like sometimes I get over excited about an album, and it does not sound like I expected. That can be a bit dissappointing. But if I'm not too excited, I will be surprised when I really like it.

I can see you guys' point, but we have heard a couple of full songs from the CD. If the rest is as good as those two songs, then we really have something great to be looking forward to.

Or they posted the best songs and the rest is not so good.
I agree if the rest is so good as the full songs we have heard this new X-Sinner is a killer.

I think that alldat is right. The songs I've heard have been great, so I'm pretty sure that the album is gonna be in my top 3 of the year (1, being Seventh Avenue, and then the other place could be Stryper...........)

Rumor's are flying that the Stryper disc may get pushed back until 2009 due to Michael's involvement with Boston. I wouldn't get my hopes up too high for that one, Fundy.

I'm reserving the top spot on my Favorites For 2008 list until I hear the new X-Sinner. I won't even start to grade this year's releases until then.

It seems more members of Stryper are involved in other bands now.

Is Boston a christian band, or is Michael Sweet joining a secular band if he's involved in Boston?

Boston is a secular band.
If I remember correctly most of their songs where rather clean (for the most part). The do have a few "questionable" lyrics, but Michael won't be the only lead singer. It is reported that their "other lead singer" is doing most (or all) of the songs with "questionable" lyrics.

Does that mean Michael is only a hired gun for Boston?

He's just there temporarily. I believe that the other singer will eventually become the only singer for Boston.


Oh, and Robert Sweet isn't in Blissed. Hasn't been for some time. He was with them on the first CD, but left before their 2nd came out.

I thought Robert Sweet like to drum in a several bands except for Stryper.

I think he would have liked to drum for Stryper, but that didn't happen this time around.

For those who didn't know (I was one of them) cornerstone is at the end of this month. So if it does miss that date it should be available straight after. So it's time to get excited! Here's the blog report........

The new album is done being mixed and is onto mastering and manufacturing! We are going to attempt a retail debut at Cornerstone 2008 at the end of June. If all goes well without any last minute gliches we should be able to make it! If not, it will be for sale right after. Keep all those encouraging emails coming!

As far as Michael Sweet and Stryper goes,it has been said that the new disc is pushed back some but am not sure if all the way to 2009. Mike is still officially in Stryper but this gig with Boston is pretty much a blessing as he will be able to make a little extra cash to help pay for Kyle's(his wifes) hospital bills due to the cancer treatments.
