Time to do a little reading. Unfortunately with me having already ordered these, this will probably just fuel my anticipation.

Nice to add the revieuws of both bands.
I will read them later and will search to some samples to know how both bands sound.

Ok, just based on Andys review I think I will add the new Random Eyes to my "must have" list.
But I am falling seriously behind this year, so I might be a while.

I don't really like female vocalists, but HB seems very good indeed.

I have both the Random Eyes and the HB discs now. I must say that of the two that I like the HB quite a bit more....at least on my first listen. I love the girl's voice, but the lyrics are very powerful and moving. The music is good too, but the lyrics themselves are very worshipful and peaceful even in the midst of some great rock music.

Random Eyes is good too, but I think it's gonna take a couple of spins to get used to not having the female vocals here anymore.

Exactly my thoughts as well. It took me much more time to get into the new Random Eyes (at least in comparison to HB). But I agree that she has a great voice.
