Joshua is the Lucky Luck of the guitarists because he's playing faster than his shadow.

Ken Tamplin played guitar in Joshua and it was Rob Rock who did the vocals on "Intense Defense".

What are your thoughts about:
The Hand Is Quicker Than The Eye, Surrender, Chapter One, Something To Say?
What's your favorite Joshua CD?

I do not yet posses a copy of "The Hand is Quicker.." or "Chapter One". But I would have to say my favorite is "Surrender", but Intense "Defense" and "Something to Say" are both fantastic as well.

I'm looking forward to those older albums getting rereleased, and it would be great to hear some new Joshua.

"Chapter One" is my favorite. It reminds me more of Whitesnake and Red Sea. Great stuff!

Next on my list is "Resurrection". That's an awesome slab of classic metal!

"Surrender" comes next. I had it on cassette many years ago and have it on CD now.

"Intense Defense" is good, but the overall sound holds it back to me. You can't hear the bass at all. If/When Joshua ever finishes remastering this for a proper release, maybe my mind will change about it and move it further up the list of favorites.

"Something To Say" has some good tracks on it. However, there are a couple that were redone from "Chapter One" and that took away from it for me. Also, there are some mellow songs on there as well.

I don't have "Hand Is Quicker Than The Eye".

I thought this conversation was about me (just kidding).

I don't have any Joshua releases but I used to have Intense Defense. I didn't care for it - as alldat said, no bass. Plus (please don't hurt me) I don't care for Rob Rock.

I'm still going to go with "Surrender" as a favorite with "Intense Defense" coming in at a close second.

While I like his music, just don't cross him politically. He made some statements last year that I felt were rather inflammatory intentionally towards certain people. I told him that he should lighten up as it could definitely hurt some people. He proceeded to rip me a new one and kicked me off his page. Can we say "too sensitive", folks?

Ah, well, we don't have to be besties for me to like his music.
