| After over an hour of trying to get it to upload to my MySpace page, you can hear the new song called "I Will Worship You". Check it out! www.myspace.com/missionofone _________________

| Chris, I hate to say it but I don't care for your vocals at all on this one. Tone doesn't seem right and sounds like you're really straining - not natural. It doesn't sound like you're worshipping at all. I've listened 3 times now and this song really needs higher pitch or female vox.
And please don't take this personally. It's just my honest opinion. Music and lyrics are fine.
I like the new logo, too! _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own." |

| Actually, that is my natural baritone voice. I call it my 'church voice'. For the people at church who hear me singing solos or leading congregational singing, this is what they are accustomed to hearing. Some of the people that I have let hear a few of these songs (in rough mix form, of course), like this song the best of all of them. I knew when I did this CD that the mix of styles and change of pace would be risky. But, in the end, I had to do what I felt and this is one of those songs. Everyone isn't going to like it, and that's ok. _________________

| I don't agree with topshots assesment of your vocals, but to each their own. I really dig the tune, but I had a hard time hearing your voice with these tinny little computer speakers. Sounds like I need to kick a subwoofer on this puppy. _________________ -- "One day you'll stand before God and realize it wasn't about you" |

| I don't have problems with how your voice sounds on this song. I remember on "Take An Other Swig" the song "Give It To Jesus" was sung on a way like this. I like the song. It's a wonderful worship song. But like Staybride told, each to their own. |

| At least I'm in the minority. You're right - it's a churchy voice and sounds out of place in this otherwise good song to me.
I don't know squat about music but maybe playing in a different key would make it sound right to me. The vocals and guitars just don't match for my ears.
Were there drums on that song? Didn't notice. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own." |

"Give it to Jesus" is my hands down favorite from Take Another Swig. What a great song.

| It is a churchy voice, but that's aboutthe way that Mac Powell would have done this song. Third Day is constantly using a natural baritone in rock music, and I really wanted to bring both a slow rock tune and my natural voice to the table. It might flop, but my wife REALLY likes it. So, I'm leaving it the way it is. If I change the key, my higher notes start to become strained sounding. Where this song is feels very comfortable with me singing. Anything else just felt wrong and sounded bad to me. _________________

| For me a church voice fits very good with a praise and worship song. Sabidoo, about the druumer, I think he's cool. |

| It sounded good to me, but I really want to listen to it at home. I work in a printing factory, and have a computer behind me with possibly the worst speakers in the history of the world (they do look good though!). I've been to your myspace site, alldat and listened to it, but what with all the clunking, chugging and whizzing going on I really need to hear it in the quiet of my own home. Still, like I said, from what I've heard it sounds good to me. Fundy _________________ For all things 'Guy Ritter' have a look here.... www.bbillett.freeserve.co.uk |

| I'm hoping to have a new song posted sometime this weekend. I'm not completely happy with my vocals on one song, and I want to recut them before trying another mix. _________________

| Now I hope that when you recut the song the result is better. And you can post a new song. I understand sometimes you hear this and then that. And you allways try to make it better. It's good you start to work to the CD again. |
