A new year, does that mean we hear more from Mission Of One? Maybe a fourth Mission Of One album? Or do you have other plans for Mission Of One? I hope you update us when you have news?

I have definitely started on some new tunes with Mission Of One. Right now, I have rhythm guitars & bass finished on two songs. One is called "Feed My Sheep" and it is very reminiscent of AC/DC musically. The other song is called "Gloryland" and it is a remake of the hymn "Just Over In the Gloryland". I have the vocals finished on "Feed My Sheep" and am almost done with them on "Gloryland". Both songs still need drums. "Feed My Sheep" has the guitar solo finished as well. My next song to start on will be called "The Third Door". It is a song that I co-wrote with another kid in my youth group. He started the lyrics based on a sermon I preached a couple of years ago. I rewrote most of the lyrics, but I kept the original thought intact. I'm giving Tyler equal writing credit due to him being the one to bring the song idea to me. This will be more of an 80's rock ballad. I'll also be working on a song on the bass for the new Liberty 'N Justice CD. Hopefully, that will go well and I can use that on my musical resume to help find some other interested musicians in joining Mission of One. The new CMR 3 compilation is starting to ship out this week according to Arttie. Mission Of One is on that compilation. So, it isn't a lot, but I am still doing some music! Maybe we'll see some other "surprises" this year as well. _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!"

| Glad to hear you are keeping busy. Don't feel rushed to get a new Mof1 album out, but make sure you work on that Liberty n' Justice tune. _________________ -- "One day you'll stand before God and realize it wasn't about you"

The LNJ song at this point is my top priority. I can work on my tracks any time. But, I did finish the harmony vocals on "Gloryland". That song has some HIGH notes that were tough to reach! _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!"

"Vienna Boy's Choir" high? Or more like "Michael Sweet" high? _________________ -- "One day you'll stand before God and realize it wasn't about you"

More like the Michael Sweet high on the harmonies! Either way, though, I need much tighter pants to help with those notes! _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!"

I always wondered why Michael Sweet could sing so high, but now I got it. Good to hear the music keeps you busy. I'm curious how the new Mission Of One songs sound. Playing bass on a LNJ song is cool.

Did you made progress for the LNJ song? "Gloryland", I'm curious to hear how this songs sonds. When you are in the Batcave, working on a new song what's the first you work on? The vocals or the music? Are you still writing new songs?

I need to mix down the LNJ track again and resend it to Justin. I had to make a couple of changes for him. It happens when you work on someone else's stuff. I write songs whenever I get an idea. This CD will be a collection of all new songs. There will be nothing from the Alldat song vault being pulled out. However, I am using lyrics by three guest writers this time--one being Tall Tyrion. This song is called "Prodigal" and will be somewhat in the style of the Die Happy Vol. 2 CD. When I'm in the studio, the music has to be worked on first. What would I sing to without working on the music? I'll record as much of the music as I can with a click track before adding the vocals. Then, I'll do my guitar solo (if I'm doing it myself). Sabidoo then comes in with drums. Then, if I need a guest guitar player for the solos, that will come last. "Gloryland" is shaping up nicely! The harmonies are tight! Sabidoo did an excellent job on this one even though there are a lot of tempo changes in the song. The intros and choruses are played at one speed, and the verses are a "double-time". So, he constantly was having to change up patterns. The 2nd song "Feed My Sheep" is an AC/DC type rocker. I need to redo one part of the solo and fix one problem on the bass. But, for the most part, this song is done. There will be a couple of more songs in this style. There will also be a couple of songs that would have fit nicely on "Show Me The Way". _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!"
