The world was full of darkness,

For hope had almost been destroyed,

The chasm, vast that laid between,
The Lord of hosts, and man,
Was way beyond the reach of us,
for none at all could span.
So God within His mighty will,
Sent down His only Son,
And gave him flesh in mortal frame,
A mission just of One.

The Saviour cried ‘Thy will be done’

The Saviour died – the end is won!

He died and rose, and broke the chain.
Our sins are clean, and there’s no stain.
For us eternal life we again.

I like those lyrics...and as I read them, a very southern gospel-ish tune filled my head and I could sing the song.

Careful, I may talk alldat into doing that song in a way you would never dream of... Wink

Fundy what a very beautiful lyrics are this.
It was a mission of One who set us free.

It would be cool to have music for this song.

Actually, I think it would be cool to rework a couple of the lines in this and collaborate. I have several songs that need lyrics, and I wonder if this would fit......

But first, I must finish the current CD!!!!!!
